Whistleblowing System
Following the 2023 XXV. Act on Complaints, Public Interest Disclosures, and Rules Related to Reporting Abuses, hereafter referred to as the “Act,” companies employing at least 50 individuals must establish an internal whistleblowing system. The purpose of this system is to enable employees and partners to report activities they perceive as illegal or questionable behaviors. Reports should be made through a platform that protects them from negative consequences or possible retaliation.
Subject of the Report
The internal whistleblowing system allows for reporting information related to illegal or presumed illegal actions or omissions and other abuses. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Criminal activities
- Corruption
- Fraud
- Unfair trade practices
- Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information or personal data
- Abuses related to conflicts of interest
- Discrimination
Method of Reporting
Reports can be submitted in writing through the provided link.
Content of the Report
To ensure a prompt and effective investigation, it is recommended to provide a detailed description of the subject of the report, including:
- Background, circumstances, and reasons for the reported event
- Individuals involved in the reported event, along with the date and location of the event
It is also advisable to attach any documents that can substantiate the suspicion of illegal or presumed illegal actions, omissions, or other abuses.
Investigation of the Report
Mito Group investigates each report as quickly as possible. Within 7 days of receiving the report, the whistleblower will receive confirmation of the report via the same channel used for submission. Within three months of confirming receipt, the whistleblower will be notified of the investigation results and any measures taken based on the report.
Data Handling
During the investigation, Mito Group will handle the personal data of the whistleblower and the person whose behavior or omission prompted the report. The personal data essential for the investigation will only be processed by Mito Group to investigate the report and remedy or eliminate the behavior outlined in the report. This information will only be disclosed to individuals authorized to participate in the investigation.
